Coverage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Osteopathic treatment provided at Lugo Clinic is eligible for reimbursement through nearly all extended health care providers in Canada. Check to see whether your policy includes osteopathy, often grouped with other manual therapies such as chiropractic, massage therapy, or physiotherapy, to see if you are eligible for insurance coverage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lugo Clinic is now providing direct billing for select insurance companies that are supported through TELUS eClaims. Telus does not currently support all insurers so if you have one that is not supported, you will be required to pay at the time of your appointment and submit the invoice to the insurance company. This is usually an online process and money is put in your account quickly. Unfortunately each insurance company varies in how it processes claims and we are unable to provide assistance with claim submission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OHIP \/ Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Fund<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Please note that we do not work with the Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Fund due to many previous billing issues, so if you are working with them for an accident, we will be able to treat you, but you will be required to pay out of pocket. Osteopathy is not currently recognized by OHIP and is therefore not covered. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We now support direct billing through a number of insurance companies through TELUS eClaims (to the left). When you arrive at the office please have your insurance card ready, and if you are not listed as the insured person, information on the primary insured. We will have consent forms available that will be required to be signed in order for us to submit your claims electronically. Once that is done, we will submit most claims in realtime and if there is a co-pay or remaining balance we can take care of it right then.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

These insurance companies offer patient submitted billing and TELUS Health does not yet support your insurer for directly submitted claims, or we are unable to process claims for these insurers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been told by other patients that these companies do support NMOS and Osteopath treatments, and they have had successfully submitted claims from our office. Support may be dependent on the specific plan you have, so please verify with your plan that you have coverage before booking.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
