Coverage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Osteopathic and acupuncture treatment provided at Lugo Clinic is eligible for reimbursement through nearly all extended health care providers in Canada. Check to see whether your policy includes osteopathy or acupuncture, often grouped with other manual therapies such as chiropractic, massage therapy, or physiotherapy, to see if you are eligible for insurance coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lugo Clinic is now providing direct billing for select insurance companies that are supported, but we do not currently support all insurers so if you have one that is not supported, you will be required to pay at the time of your appointment and submit the invoice to the insurance company. This is usually an online process and money is put in your account quickly. Unfortunately each insurance company varies in how it processes claims and we are unable to provide assistance with claim submission.  Please find your insurance company below and verify that they are supported, and to what level (direct billing, patient submitted, or not at all).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OHIP \/ Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Fund<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Please note that we do not work with the Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Fund due to many previous billing issues, so if you are working with them for an accident, we will be able to treat you, but you will be required to pay out of pocket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OHIP – Osteopathy is not currently recognized by OHIP and is therefore not covered, so we are unable to bill them directly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
